Pakistan Blast Kills 4, Wounds 40


Authorities in southwestern Pakistan speak a bomb has exploded near a university bus, killing 4 students and hurtful more than 40 people.

The explosion happened near Quetta, capital of the restive Baluchistan region neighboring Afghanistan and Iran. 

Baluchistan is house to various militant group, including pro-Taliban faction, and Baluch separatists hostility a low-level rebellion in hopes of gaining political independence and a greater share of the profits from the region's natural resources.

Amnesty International say Baluchistan is one of the most militarized districts of Pakistan, where armed sectarian groups, government security forces and illegal gangs operate with impunity.
